I finally got to work on my Huey again. I thought I could start where I’ve left off the last time I worked on it. But that wasn’t meant to be. It turns out that the filling and sanding that I had done the last time were not sufficient, not even close to what I would like it to be. So basically I’ve applied another layer of putty. The next session will be sanding, …. and sanding, … and sanding…..

I’ve prepared everything to continue on the base. I didn’t take any pictures though. The progress doesn’t show much. During my next session I will be able (at least I hope) to start with the “Ground” of the base. I’ve decided to paint the landing pad, for I was not satisfied with glueing a printout to the wood.
